I am looking forward to a wonderful year. Durham Elementary is an excellent school with caring, dedicated teachers. At Durham, student success and family support is a priority. Fourth grade is an exciting year with lots to learn.  Some topics include California's regions, using variables in algebra, division, writing expository text, writing narratives, the use of line and texture in art, adaptations of animals, and much more!

I have been teaching for over 31 years and enjoy it immensely.  I currently live in Newark with my husband and two daughters. Each child has unique gifts, talents and learning styles. My goal is to support each student to have a fantastic 4th-grade year. Thank you for taking the time to visit this page!
